Hello and welcome to art!!!!!!!

Hi!!! I'm Ms. Heydt-Nelson
This is my 2nd year teaching at CAS! Before thisI taught in Minnesota for 22 years. This year at CAS I am teaching 7th grade Seminar, Drawing/Painting, 10th grade Visual Art Pre-IB, 12th grade Vis. Art IB-Y2. While I enjoy teaching all areas of art, clay is my passion, and I earned a BFA in ceramics at SCSU!

They are mother and daughter and I have had them for 7 years!

Traveling!
Traveling is one of my favorite past times. I was lucky to travel with friends to Europe in the summer of 2019 (before the apocalypse). We also got back to visit Alnwick England. I studied abroad there in 1999!
